Rural Community Immigration Pilot Quiz

The Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) is a federal economic immigration program in Canada launched in January 2025 to help fill labour shortages in rural and remote communities. It is an employer-driven permanent residence pathway that replaced the previous Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP).

Community and Job Offer


2. Do you have a genuine full-time job offer from a designated employer in one of the RCIP communities?



3. Is the job offer in a priority occupation or priority sector approved by that specific community?



4. Has the employer agreed to submit or support the community recommendation application?



Work Experience

5. Do you have at least 1 year, or 1,560 hours, of related work experience in the last 3 years?




7. Does your past work experience match the TEER/NOC relationship required for the job offer?



Language and Education

8. Do you meet the minimum language level required for the job offer TEER?



9. Do you have a Canadian educational credential or a valid Educational Credential Assessment for foreign education?



Settlement and Admissibility

10. Do you have enough settlement funds for yourself and your family, unless exempt because you are already working in Canada?



11. Do you currently have valid temporary resident status if applying from inside Canada?



12. Are you willing and able to live in the RCIP community after becoming a permanent resident?

13. Are your main documents ready, including passport, resume, job offer, work experience letters, language test, education/ECA, funds, and status documents?
